Can you imagine yourself in a room facing all of the poker players of our time? Can you imagine yourself sitting at a table playing your favorite game of poker, with numerous television cameras turned to you, as well as the eyes of your opponents and those of the eager crowd.

Before you see yourself in some poker tournament on ESPN, however, you will have to pass through a couple of difficult tests first. There are several online poker rooms that organize a number of online tournaments on a yearly basis, some of which actually cary no entry fee whatsoever.

The World Poker Challenge is a qualifying event for the World Poker Tour, and is televised nationwide across United States of America. So if you would like to have your 15 minutes of fame, or maybe even a bit more, you might want to consider doing some research on where you can qualify for the World Poker Challenge.

Of course, brush up on your poker performance first. The World Poker Challenge has been the poker tournament to end all poker tournaments, ever since its inception in the summer of 1949, when Nicholas ‘Nick the Greek’ Dandolos approached Benny Binion with a challenge for the best poker player in the world, the legendary Johnny Moss.

This is your goal. This is your finish line. Your purpose in life is to achieve a seat in the World Poker Challenge. This will ultimately lead you, if you’re good enough, to the World Poker Tour.
